This Design Kit (consisting of an Evaluation Board and this manual) is designed to ease evaluation and design-in of National Semiconductor's DAC124S085 12-bit Digital-to-Analog Converter.
The DAC124S085 features a voltage output with an SPI interface that operates at clock rates up to 40 MHz. The supply voltage can range from +2.7V to +5.5V and consumes just 1.1 mW at 3V and 2.5 mW at 5V. A power-down feature reduces the power consumption to 0.3 uW at 3V and 0.8 uW at 5V. The reference voltage for the DAC124S085 serves all channels and can vary in
voltage between 1.0V and VA.
