COP8 Software Development Environments
For more information about EWCOP8M IAR Embedded Workbench, with Integrated Development Environment,
ANSI C-Compiler, Macro Assembler, and C-SPY Simulator/Debugger,
and Metalink Debugger/Emulator support.
Summary:
EWCOP8 Embedded Workbench is a fully Integrated Development Environment (IDE) for Windows 95/98/NT, with a project manager, ANSI standard C-compiler, macro assembler, editor, linker, librarian, run-time libraries, and C-Spy Simulator/Debugger.
A hierarchical project presentation allows the designer to create projects, edit files, compile, assemble/link/build, simulate/debug applications, and download to an in-system emulator, all from a common environment.
The C-Compiler includes all required ANSI libraries, full 16/32 floating point support, an extended C library, and a COP8 optimizer. The relocating macro-assembler accepts all C macro definitions. A powerful linker generates ROMable code, and supports a wide range of industry-standard symbolic formats.
The C-Spy high level language simulator/debugger supports a macro language for peripheral and I/O simulation. Optional Source/Symbolic Level Debug support for Metalink's COP8 OTP/ROM and COP8FLASH emulators.
