COP8 Flash Starter Kits

For more info on COP8-SKFLASH-01

Summary:

The COP8-SKFLASH-01 Starter Kit consists of National's COP8 Development CD for Windows, and a COP8Flash real-time, multi-function 5v target board with breadboard area. The kit provides a low cost, easy-to-use environment for quick-starting the development and debugging of COP8FLASH applications.

The COP8-NSDEV development environment allows you to develop your code then download (via Flash ISP) into the socketed COP8Flash device for 10MHz (CKI) and 32KHz (CK*I) realtime execution and testing at 5v.

Our NiceMon Debug Monitor can be used with your application code to allow basic code debugging from your PC, or for more advanced, non-intrusive debugging you can easily connect one of our real time COP8FLASH Emulators to a 2x7 connector on the target board.

Description:

COP8-NSDEV is a fully licensed Win 32 development environment for COP8. It includes WCOP8 IDE, COP8 Assembler/Linker/Librarian, COP8 Instruction Level Simulator, Manuals, Datasheets, Applications notes with source code, and other technical information.

The COP8 Flash ISP utility and NiceMon Debugger use the PC's parallel port, and are integrated under the IDE. NiceMon allows real-time execution with a single breakpoint, then single-step debugging, with code/register viewing and editing. Connection to the target device is via Microwire/Plus.

The SKFlash-01 target board includes sockets for 44 PLCC, 68 PLCC, and 28 DIP COPFlash devices (use only one at a time), an RS232 DB9 connector, and a MICROWIRE/Plus RJ11 connector for ISP. A generous breadboard area, 4 LED's, and 68 pin expansion headers allow easy design and debug of customized applications. A Flash Emulator 2x7 connector, and a Kanda ISP Tool 2x5 connector are provided for optional realtime emulation and multi-clock ISP support. The board is configured for 5v operation (<5v is optional), and is powered by any user-supplied 5-25 VDC power supply (or a 9v battery).

The kit includes: A fully assembled COP8-SKFLASH-01 Target Board with 5v regulator; 68pin COP8CDR9 superset device, and 28DIP COP8AME9 samples; COP8 Development CD; Target ISP/Debug cable and connector for PC parallel port; Printed Instructions.
