Summary:
The COP8 Debug Module is a dedicated, real-time emulation solution for all of the COP8 OTP/ROM families, with an-onboard OTP/EPROM programmer. Each DM is dedicated to a specific device family for emulation, but the OTP/EPROM programming supports all current families.
Utilizing Metalink's common icDMASTER User Interface for Windows, with integrated HLL/Source/Symbolic Debugger, the DM supports real-time program execution up to the maximum microcontroller clock speed, with 32K of emulation memory on board, and 100 frames of trace.
The DM can be operated in stand-alone mode for execution/debug of your code, or connected to a target board for real-time hardware debug. The Metalink Debugger Interface is supported by National's NSDEV Integrated Development Environment, Byte Craft's C-Compiler, and IAR's Embedded Workbench.
