Description:

The ADC081S021 is a 1.3 mW, CMOS 8-bit, 1 MSPS Analog-to-Digital converter offered in a 6-lead SOT-23 and is designed to operate over the automotive/extended industrial temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.

This evaluation board is designed to ease the evaluation and design-in of National Semiconductor's ADC081S021 Analog-to-Digital Converter. The board and can be used in either of two modes. In the Manal or Stand alone mode the board can be used with suitable test equipment to evaluate the ADC081S021's performance. In the Computer or Automatic mode, evaluation is simplified by connecting the board to the Wavevision Digital Interface Board (order number WAVEVISION BRD 4.0 or later), which in turn is connected to a personal computer through an USB communication port, and using National Semiconductor's Wavevision software.
