Description
National’s LMV861 and LMV862 are CMOS input, low power op amp IC's, providing a low input bias current, a wide temperature
range of −40°C to +125°C and exceptional performance making them robust general purpose parts. Additionally, the LMV861 and
LMV862 are EMI hardened to minimize any interference so they are ideal for EMI sensitive applications.
The unity gain stable LMV861 and LMV862 feature 30 MHz of bandwidth while consuming only 2.25 mA of current per channel. These
parts also maintain stability for capacitive loads as large as 200 pF. The LMV861 and LMV862 provide superior performance
and economy in terms of power and space usage.
This family of parts has a maximum input offset voltage of
1 mV, a rail-to-rail output stage and an input common-mode voltage range that includes ground. Over an operating range from 2.7V
to 5.5V the LMV861 and LMV862 provide a PSRR of 93 dB, and a CMRR of 93 dB. The LMV861 is offered in the space saving
5-Pin SC70 package, and the LMV862 in the
8-Pin MSOP.
National's LMV861 is a CMOS input, low power op amp IC, providing a low input bias current, a wide temperature range of -40°C to +125°C and exceptional performance, making this IC a robust general purpose part. To demonstrate the EMI robustness of the LMV861 and to be able to measure the parameter EMIRR, an evaluation board has been developed. A description of the evaluation board and how to perform EMIRR measurements can be found in Application Note AN-1868. Focus is on one of the input pins as those are most sensitive to EMI. Based on symmetry considerations, it can be expected that both inputs have the same EMIRR. For reasons of simplicity of the required schematic the measurement on the IN+ pin is selected. A detailed description on EMI and the EMIRR for the other pins can be found in Application Note AN-1698.
National Semiconductor offers this blank universal Evaluation Board to help you evaluate the performance of any low voltage, low power operational amplifier that is offered in the SC-70 package. Resistors, capacitors, or any other components can be easily mounted on this board. These components can be chosen from any of the following three popular sizes: 1206, 0805, and, 0603. The op amp can then be tested under the conditions of your choice.
The 551012922-001 Evaluation Board allows quick and easy evaluation of the part. You need only supply an analog input signaland a power supply to the evaluation board.
Features:
Universal for all low voltage, low power op amps.
Dual sided layout for different pin-outs.
Accommodates components of any of these sizes:
1206
0805
0603
Note: The Early Failure Rates (EFR) were calculated as point estimate PPM based on rejects and sample size for EFR.
The Long Term Failure Rates were calculated
at 60% confidence using the Arrhenius equation at 0.7eV activation energy and derating the assumed stress
temperature of 150°C to an application temperature of 55°C.
