| Description:
This Design Kit (consisting of an Evaluation Board and this manual) is designed to ease evaluation and design-in of National Semiconductor's DAC104S08510-bit Digital-to-Analog Converter.
The DAC104S085 features a voltage output with an SPI interface that operates at clock rates up to 40 MHz. The supply voltage can range from +2.7V to +5.5V and consumes just 1.1 mW at 3V and 2.5 mW at 5V. A power-down feature reduces the power consumption to 0.3 uW at 3V and 0.8 uW at 5V. The reference voltage for the DAC104S085 serves all channels and can vary in voltage between 1.0V and VA.

The Long Term Failure Rates were calculated
at 60% confidence using the Arrhenius equation at 0.7eV activation energy and derating the assumed stress
temperature of 150°C to an application temperature of 55°C.
