Overview:
Operational Amplifiers are the most used analog active circuit component. While op amps are widely available from different manufacturers, and are fairly inexpensive, selection of the right op amp for the job is still important.
This seminar is a "crash course" on op amps. All the knowledge necessary to understand the material will be provided during the session. First, the fundamental concepts of an op amp will be covered, looking at the op amp as a building block or black box. We will then cover some of the op amp key parameters that need to be considered when designing a part into a circuit. As a final step, we will take a look inside the black box to see how certain features are achieved using the internal circuitry of a simple op amp.
