National Semiconductor's Free Design Kit With Newest High-Speed Op Amps Simplifies Prototyping of Active Filters up to 100MHz

Kit Includes Evaluation Board, High-Speed Buffer, Dual Op Amps And Documentation
July 30, 1997 -- National Semiconductor Corporation® today announced the availability of a free design kit that will assist designers in the development of high-speed active filters. Using the latest Comlinear op amps, designers with limited filter design experience will be able to build active filters up to 100MHz without the need for large, expensive inductors normally associated with passive filter designs.

The evaluation board consists of an input buffer, followed by four cascaded Sallen Key filter sections, realized with two dual op amps. The board was designed using surface mount components, so the resistors and capacitors are interchangeable. Contents of the kit include:
. Two CLC5602AJE dual op amps
. One CLC111AJE high-speed buffer
. One CLC730061 evaluation board
. CLC5602, CLC111 and evaluation board data sheets
. Faxcom sheet (listing of all current Comlinear data sheets for instant fax back)
. Reprint of article "High-Speed Active Filters Made Easy"
