January 24, 2000 - National
Semiconductor Corporation has
promoted Hermann Stehlik to Vice President, Corporate Marketing
and Communications, based in the company's Santa Clara, California
headquarters. In his new position he is responsible for all marketing
strategies and communications, including advertising, public
relations and employee communications.
Since January 1994 Stehlik served as Director of Marketing Communications,
Europe, based in Furstenfeldbruck, Germany. Prior to joining
National he worked in the personal computer and software industry
for more than 15 years, including positions as Marketing Manager
at Apple Computer, Germany, and Marketing Director for Lotus
Development in central Europe. Stehlik has an electronic engineering
degree.
