NATIONAL SEMICONDUCTOR SIGNS DISTRIBUTOR AGREEMENT WITH WYLE ELECTRONICS

July 18, 1996 - National Semiconductor Corporation (NYSE: NSM) today announced the signing of a nationwide agreement allowing Wyle Electronics (NYSE: WYL) to distribute National's complete line of semiconductor products through its 36 sales locations nationwide. These products include analog, mixed-signal and communications technologies, in addition to products from the recently-formed Fairchild Semiconductor, a subsidiary division of National Semiconductor.
