LEARN ABOUT ADVANCED MULTI-CHIP MODULE DESIGN FROM NATIONAL SEMICONDUCTOR, HARRIS EDA SEMINARS

Santa Clara, CA - June 26, 1995 - Seminars that enable systems engineers and managers to explore the practical applications of advanced MCM (Multi-Chip Module) design in today's automated EDA environments have been announced by National Semiconductor and Harris Electronic Design Automation.

The jointly-sponsered seminars are designed for participants looking to gain a competitive edge by developing successful, high-performance designs that reduce size, weight, power consumption, and propagation delays without increasing time to market or overall cost. Participants are encouraged to bring product and design samples that can be used to discuss how MCM technology can be implemented with real world examples.

The seminar will cover such critical issues as circuit partitioning, test strategies, technology selection, bare die procurement and design efficiency. Each seminar will be conducted by MCM experts Jim Kath from National Semiconductor, and Bob Ingold from Harris EDA. Both Jim and Bob have more than 10 years experience in implementing practical and advanced MCM design technologies.
