The SPUSI2 USB Interface Dongle board connects any National Semiconductor board or system equipped with a GPSI-14 header to a USB port. Only one SPUSI2 board per PC is needed. Together with easy-to-use downloadable GUI software, the SPUSI2 board enables design engineers to quickly evaluate and prototype with National Semiconductor op amps, ADCs, and DACs with SPI/Microwire or I2C interface. All WEBENCH Sensor Designer prototyping boards are compatible with SPUSI2 and Sensor Signal Path Control Panel software. Evaluation boards with GPSI-14 interface are also compatible with SPUSI2 and may be used with TinyI2CSPI software to access registers in the device under evaluation. SPUSI2 thus opens a whole new dimension in meeting your needs for both prototyping and evaluation.
In a typical system, the SPUSI2 board connects a National prototype or evaluation board with GPSI-14 header connector to a PC via the SPUSI2 and a USB cable.
