WEBENCH Pressure Sensor Designer provides complete circuit solutions for common pressure sensors or pressure transducer applications. The types of sensors covered are: bridge pressure sensors, load cells, strain gauges, and pressure transducers. Start by selecting a pressure sensor from a list of market leaders, or specify your own pressure sensor parameters by creating a custom sensor. WEBENCH Pressure Sensor Designer provides you with optimized signal path performance, bill of materials, budgetary cost, and links to evaluation boards and other tools for testing and validating your simulated solution.
Pressure sensor solutions are used in many different applications industrial process control, factory automation, monitoring, calibration, medical instrumentation, drug delivery systems, weigh systems, compressors, refrigeration, hydraulics, power generation, fluid management, and HVAC systems.
WEBENCH Pressure Sensor Designer provides a complete pressure sensor to digital serial output solution, including sensor interface, excitation source, precision amplifier and filter, and 8-bit through 12-bit ADCs, and a serialized output to connect to various back-end systems.

WEBENCH Pressure Sensor Designer Solutions
|
WEBENCH Pressure Sensor Designer solutions are based on a 3-op amp instrumentation amplifier circuit, which detects the sensor voltage, amplifies it, provides simple filtering, and delivers it to an ADC. The sensor excitation is a voltage or current source, depending on how the sensor is specified.
Standard pressure sensor products can be selected from a list, or a custom sensor can be "created" for use with the Designer.

Pressure Sensor Designer Help
How to use this design tool:
1) Explore & Learn
Click the blue Start Design button for your desired sensor type and choose a pre-loaded sensor, or enter a custom sensor to meet your needs. Then click the 'Create Design' button.
2) Compare & Select
Review the resulting schematic, bill of materials, performance summary, and other technical results in the Design Summary overview. Click on any of the displayed panels to review more advanced or detailed information behind each panel. You can modify design parameters or further optimize your design by selecting a different sensor, amplifier, ADC, or other system parameters.
3) Design & Build
Print a report to document your design or order evaluation kits, and other tools in the Documentation panel. Furthermore, download applicable datasheets, application notes, and other design tips.
