Video Descriptions

Operational Amplifiers are the most used analog active circuit component. While OpAmps are widely available from different manufacturers, and are fairly inexpensive, selection of the right OpAmp for the job is still important.

This seminar is a 'crash course' on OpAmps. All the knowledge necessary to understand the material will be provided during the session. First, the fundamental concepts of an OpAmp will be covered, looking at the OpAmp as a building block or black box. We will then cover some of the OpAmp key parameters that need to be considered when designing a part into a circuit. As a final step, we will take a look inside the black box to see how certain features are achieved using the internal circuitry of a simple OpAmp.

Topics covered in this online seminar include:

  • What is an OpAmp?
  • Different OpAmp configurations
  • OpAmp parameters
  • OpAmp datasheets: Understand the 'Abs Max Ratings'
  • Internal Circuitry of a simple OpAmp
