This AEC-Q100 qualified chipset embeds 720p HD 24-bit RGB video, audio, bidirectional control channel, and content protection over a single twisted pair up to 10 meters. For years, system designers have worked to get high-definition video into vehicles but have faced the challenges of routing to multiple displays, meeting signal reliability requirements and now industry standards for high-definition content protection without the use of HDMI cabling in the rugged automotive environment.
