Gigasample Test & Measurement 

National's family of ultra high speed ADCs offer best in class performance at the lowest power consumption. The family offers both 8- and 10-bit ADCs at up to 3 GSPS speed.

  • RD-143 Is an 8-bit 3 GSPS data acquisition reference design. It includes an onboard FPGA and local microcontroller to provide an interface to National Semiconductor's WaveVision software to allow data capture directly to a PC.
  • ADC10D1000 Evaluation Board is a complete subsystem which features the ADC10D1000 and an onboard Virtex-4 FPGA for data buffering. Fully supported by National Semiconductor's WaveVision software to allow data capture directly to a PC.
  • WaveVision5 Software is an easy-to-use data acquisition and analysis tool designed to help users evaluate National Semiconductor's high-speed ADCs.
  • ADC10D1500RB Reference Board is a complete subsystem which features the ADC10D1500 and onboard Virtex-4 FPGA for data buffering. Using the WaveVision 5 software enables PC-based data analysis.

Base Station Solutions 

National's base station signal path solutions feature the world's highest performance 16-bit ADCs and include ADCs, high-speed amplifiers, jitter cleaners, PLLs, interface, and more.

Reference Designs:

  • RD-179 - High-IF Sub-sampling Receiver Subsystem with large/small signal SNR of 71/72.7 dBFS and SFDR greater than 80/92 dBFS. Features the ADC16DV160 dual 16-bit, 160 MSPS ADC, LMH6517 DVA, and LMK04031B clock conditioner.
  • RD-170 - The SP16130CH4RB Reference Board demonstrates a low IF receiver subsystem application with performance for a 52 MHz input signal of SNR = 75.8 dBFS and SFDR greater than 84 dBFS. It features the ADC16V130 and LMK04031.
  • RD-147 - The ADC14DS105KARB is a low IF receiver subsystem reference design board demonstrates a low IF receiver subsystem with performance for a 40 MHz input signal of 73.3 dBFS and SFDR greater than 85 dBFS. If features the LMH6552, ADC14DS105 and LMK02000.
  • RD-146 - This reference design implements a High IF Receiver circuit with performance for a 169 MHz input signal of 68.3 dBFS and SFDR of 77 dBFS. It features the LMH6515, ADC14V155 and LMK03001C
