Digital Variable Gain Amplifiers (DVGA)
National's DVGAs, including the new LMH6521 and LMH6522, feature a unique low-Z output stage, enabling them to achieve consistent performance, even under severe output loading and ambient temperature variation. The DVGA family enables designers to use low impedance anti-aliasing filters, which improves their filter reliability and manufacturability. Target applications include IF sampling receivers, I/Q DPD signal paths and wide-bandwidth direct-conversion radios.
