National's Simply Blue products LMX9830 and LMX9838 are designed to greatly simplify the design of Bluetooth wireless systems. Simply Blue can be used to exchange information between a wide range of computer and communication systems. Each module in the Simply Blue family includes a complete embedded Bluetooth protocol stack, application specific profiles, and a high-level command interpreter. The high-level command set effectively removes the need for Bluetooth expertise.

National's Standard HCI Bluetooth device LMX5453 offers a flexible, low power Bluetooth CMOS Radio and Baseband solution that provides exceptional value by delivering the best in class MIPs/mA per dollar performance. Offering enhanced power management, field upgrade capability, USB/UART transport, and support by a Stack Partner Program, these devices provide end products with the ubiquitous advantages of Bluetooth connectivity.

The LMX9830 integrates a Bluetooth CMOS radio transceiver that delivers the highest level of RF integration available today and a Bluetooth baseband controller with cost efficient ROM memory.

Besides various serial cable replacement applications, the LMX9830 supports all kinds of embedded data and voice oriented Bluetooth applications, by supporting multiple connections with maximum data throughput and synchronous audio links (SCO).

The LMX9838 Bluetooth Serial Port module is a fully integrated Bluetooth 2.0 baseband controller, 2.4 GHz radio, crystal, antenna, LDO and discreets; combined to form a complete small form factor (10 mm x 17 mm x 2.0 mm) Bluetooth node.

The LMX9838 integrates the easy interface of the LMX9830 into a comprehensive Bluetooth module including all external components.
