National Semiconductor will distribute third-party Bluetooth stack software along with its hardware platforms. This provides a complete solution for Bluetooth system developers. Third parties with Bluetooth stack software will be selected as partners on the basis of their technical and business capabilities. National Semiconductor intends to provide solutions for Bluetooth peripherals to computing devices such as PCs and PDAs. Additional solutions include automotive telematics cellular phones, accessories, and other applications, such as headsets, PC peripherals e.g. printers.
