How to Use WEBENCH
navigation header
On the top of each screen in WEBENCH is a navigation header that indicates in which step of the design process the user is.  The steps currently highlighted in red, "Analyze a Design" and "Electrical Simulation," indicate your current place in the process.

Running the Electrical Simulation...

A. Setup Analysis: Select your desired test and enter the appropriate values.  Tests available...
  • Start up
  • Input line transient
  • Output load transient
  • Steady state
  • Loop Gain (Bode Plot)

B. Run a Simulation: Click on the "GO" button in the control panel.  Depending on the complexity of the simulation, results will be available typically in 15 to 30 seconds, though download time will depend on your connection speed.  Results are available when the status states "Ready."

C. To view waveforms, click on any voltage or current probe symbol in the schematic after the simulation has been completed.  Please note that if you change a component, you will need to run a new simulation to get the updated waveforms.
