Summary:

The COP8-EM and COP8-DM Emulators ship with a pre-selected assortment of emulation cables and package adapters. Other cables and adapters are available for separate purchase.

• The COP8-DM contains only the most widely used DIP/SMD emulation cables and package adapters.

Description:

COP8-EMC-xx are Passive Emulation Cables that work for both the EM and DM. The cables are a ribbon-cable assembly with the appropriate target-package plug attached. One end attaches to the EM/DM board, and the plug end is inserted into a DIP/PLCC socket on the target PCB. The CSP Emulation Cable includes a plug-connector (instead of a socket) for soldering to the target PCB.

COP8-EMA-xx are Package Adapters that work for both the EM and DM. The adapters attach to the plug end of a COP8-EMC-xx Emulation Cable. SOIC and QFP adapters include plug-connectors for soldering onto the target PCB.
