LM3647:
An application-specific battery charging controller for Lithium-Ion (Li-Ion), Nickel-Metal Hydride (Ni-MH) and Nickel-Cadmium (Ni-Cd) batteries.

This new product from National's Power Management Group combines proprietary analog power management features with a COP8 microcontroller core.

Key features include:

• Multiple charging technique.   
• Optional external current source.   
• Configurable features, including discharge before charging, charge current, and charge termination.   
• Voltage, temperature, and charge time monitoring.   
• 20 pin SOIC package.
