LMX9820/A Simply Blue Module

Overview

National's Simply Blue family of Bluetooth modules make Bluetooth easier to design into a wide range of communications, computer systems, and consumer products. The Simply Blue family offers application specific solutions to the majority of potential Bluetooth-enabled products including, mobile phones, access points, digital cameras, set-top boxes, printers and scanners, etc.

LMX9820/A modules include the entire Bluetooth Protocol Stack, along with application specific Profiles and a High-Level Command Interpreter. LMX9820/A modules are essentially Bluetooth 'self-contained' and do not require a Host Protocol Stack. By embedding the entire Bluetooth Stack and including a high-level language to drive these modules, we are effectively removing the need for customers to have Bluetooth expertise. We are also significantly reducing the design time and cost for implementing Bluetooth in many applications.

NOTE: The LMX9820A is not recommended for new designs due to deprecation of the Bluetooth Specification 1.1.
