| LG Electronics - 2003 Silicon Vendor of the Year
LG Electronics recognized National Semiconductor as "Silicon Vendor of the Year" for the calendar year 2003. About 200 silicon suppliers in 2003 were evaluated in terms of technical support, delivery support, quality, and price performance. National came out as number one when all these criteria were reviewed.

Microsoft - 2002 Windows Embedded North American Partner of the Year
Microsoft named National Semiconductor as a winner of the "Windows Embedded North American Partner of the Year awards for Silicon Vendor (SV)." The Partner of the Year awards recognize the expertise of industry partners in the embedded market that over the past year have helped bring a wide range of innovative Microsoft® Windows® Powered devices to market. "This year's award winners are truly committed to being technology leaders in their areas of expertise” said Todd Warren, general manager of the Embedded and Appliance Platforms Group at Microsoft.

Stack International, a widely recognized association of electronic equipment manufacturers, presented National Semiconductor with its prestigious "2001 Gold Award." It is recognition of National's efforts in delivering world class performance. This is the third time National has been presented with a Stack award.
National Semiconductor received the association's Gold award in 1999 and a Bronze award in 2001.
A gold, silver, and bronze award are presented each year to the top three semiconductor manufacturers for consistent achievement and overall performance in meeting the quality, delivery, and service criteria of Stack members. Siemens Mobile recognized National Semiconductor with the "Supplier of the Year Award for Quality". Kyocera (Qualcomm) presented National Semiconductor with the "Electrical Component Supplier of the Year Award" at the Kyocera Wireless second annual Supplier Conference in San Diego. National received the most votes from all groups within Kyocera, such as Design Engineering, Quality, Advanced Technologies, Manufacturing, Purchasing and even Accounting. The votes were based on quality, delivery, technology, and customer service. National received the most votes in all categories from all groups. Other suppliers included TI, Phillips, Toshiba and Maxim, to name a few; in total there were 91 suppliers in the Electrical Component group.
