LM315x Synchronous Simple Switcher Controller Series
Designed to support higher current applications, the LM315x Simple Switcher Controller Series is National’s newest addition to its well-known Simple Switcher brand of switching solutions. The Simple Switcher Controllers come with a complete package of design tools (and are fully supported by WEBENCH) to assist with every step of the design process, including: external component selection, electrical and thermal simulation, and board evaluation.
The LM315x series also features a low external component count (11-15 components to reduce the overall solution size) and a constant on time (COT) architecture to simplify the design process. This constant on time architecture eliminates the need for compensation circuitry while still providing a fixed output voltage and frequency.
The Simple Switcher Controller series features a synchronous architecture that allows for efficiencies up to 93% and is capable of delivering up to 12A of output current, driving up to 1MHz of switching frequency and supporting a wide input voltage range from 6 to 42V.

RD-164 - LM3152-3.3 Demonstration Board Designed to balance solution size and performance, this 3.3V @ 10A output design operates over a 6V to 24V input with low output voltage ripple with fast transient response.
