Evaluation and Demo Boards for Power Management Products

The boards listed below demonstrate a typical application of the device.  Custom Evaluation Boards are also available for some regulator products via the Power Webench.

Click on the demo board name to get information about the demo board, including pricing; click on the product name for information about the product.  The Protel files are saved as Self Extracting Zip Archives. To download a product's Protel file, click on the corresponding "Protel file now" link, and save the link as a file on your computer. Then run the file on your computer (double click). This will automatically decompress the Protel file to your computer's disk. 
Note: you must have Protel or an application that can open Protel PCB layout files in order to read these Protel files.

Switching Regulators
LM2621 Demo Board; The LM2621 is a high-efficiency step-up DC-DC regulator for battery powered and low input voltage systems. The demo board is set for a 5V output. Download its Protel file now (Self Extracting Zip Archive).

LM2651 Demo Board; The LM2651 is a switching regulator provides high efficiency power conversion over a 100:1 load range (1.5A to 15mA).

Low-Dropout Regulators in Micro SMD Packaging

LP2980 Micro SMD Evaluation Boards for the following output voltages:  3.3V, 5.0V. The LP2980 is a precision 50mA low-dropout linear voltage regulator now available in Micro SMD packaging.  See AN1172 for more details about the demo boards.

LP2981 Micro SMD Evaluation Boards for the following output voltages:  2.5V, 3.2V, 3.3V. The LP2981 is a precision 100mA low-dropout linear voltage regulator now available in Micro SMD packaging.  See AN1172 for more details about the evaluation boards.

Switched-Capacitor Converters
LM2661/2663/2664 Demo Board; The LM2661, LM2663, and LM2664 are switched-capacitor converters that can double or invert a supply voltage, and provide load currents of up to between 40mA and 200mA. See AN1142 for more details. Download their Protel file now (Self Extracting Zip Archive).

LM3352-3.0 and LM3352-3.3 Demo Boards; The LM3352 is a regulated switched-capacitor buck-boost converter. Demo boards are available with 3.0V or 3.3V output options. Download their Protel file now (Self Extracting Zip Archive).

Battery Charging
LM2601 Demo Board; The LM2601 Adapter Interface Circuit (AIC) is used to sense the presence of an external power source for a portable computer.

LM3621 Demo Board; The LM3621 is a full-function constant voltage/constant current (CVCC) lithium-ion (Li+) battery charger controller. Download its Protel file now (Self Extracting Zip Archive).

LM3647 Demo Board; The LM3647 is a universal battery charger for Li-Ion, NiMH, and NiCd batteries. The Battery Charging evaluation board is based on the LM3647, and allows the user to experiment with both an external constant current source and an LM3647 controlled charge current environment.

Power Supply Control & Supervision
LM3812 Demo Board; The LM3812 is a current gauge that requires no external sense resistor for accurate high-side measurement of current. The demo board uses the 1 Amp full scale version of the product. Download its Protel file now (Self Extracting Zip Archive).
