National’s Arlington, Texas, facility is home to the manufacturing operations for many of National’s analog products. The site makes Bipolar, BiCMOS and CMOS, with most as analog or mixed signals.
Manufacturing began in 1985. The site also features the company's Customer Support Center, which is staffed with marketing, sales and technical experts assisting North American customers with price quotes, documentation, order taking and specialized help.

Environmental, Health and Safety
The site takes its corporate social responsibilities very seriously and this is reflected in its environmental, health and safety (EHS) performance. The Arlington site is certified as a U.S. OSHA safe place to work under the (VPP) Voluntary Protection Program. The site has QS9000, ISO9001, OHSAS 18001 accreditation and ISO14001 certification, which ensures that our employees work to the highest possible standards.
Community Involvement
Employees at Arlington provide donations to a host of charitable organizations and actively volunteer in the Arlington and Mansfield Independent School Districts. With National Arlington’s full support, the implementation of Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology curricula has been introduced in Mansfield ISD and Tarrant County Junior College.
Employees and the site also play a part in addressing homelessness, not only by providing donations, but also through employees volunteering to contribute their time and energy with the Community Enrichment Center, the Arlington Battered Women’s Shelter, the Arlington Night Shelter, and Mission Arlington.
Donations and volunteering employees also benefit children’s organizations, such as Big Brothers and Sisters of Arlington. Assistance is given to senior citizens, with a number of employees donating their time to the Arlington Senior Recreational Center and three local nursing homes.

Site
The site currently employs approximately 300 people, ranging from highly technical engineering staff to production operators. The plant stands on a site measuring more than 70 acres and is operational 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The wafer fabrication area, which can produce in excess of 160K six inch silicon wafers and 80K eight inch silicon wafers per year, is a world-class facility, with a portfolio of 2000 products.
The Customer Support Center employs approximately 35 professionals and provides a direct link for our North American customers to connect with our highly trained technical staff on a daily basis.
Products
The Arlington site produces integrated circuits for cell phones, communications equipment, commercial office automation as well as industrial and consumer applications.
