Open Door Policy

Any employee may discuss business-related subjects with any member of the management team.

Employee Surveys

Assuring that employees understand and are committed to the shared goals and values of our company is key to individual and corporate success. National conducts employee surveys to help measure our success in communicating these goals and values and to help direct our efforts to improve our company. We share the results of such surveys with our employees along with suggested areas for improvement and action plans. In 2007, National conducted a worldwide employee engagement survey targeting categories such as leadership, employee involvement, communication, and career development.

Ongoing Dialogue

National promotes ongoing dialogue between employees and their managers through various forums such as communication meetings and informal focus groups. In this way employees have the opportunity to participate in discussions with their management and receive quarterly updates on group goals and company performance. We also hold quarterly CEO meetings with management and quarterly company-wide communication meetings that are webcast to all National sites.
