Low Cost CRT Video Solutions 

National's Low Cost Family of video neckboard solutions consists of CMOS video preamps, high gain CRT Drivers, and Integrated bias clamps. The CRT Drivers range from 13nS to 3nS rise and fall times to meet the performance goals of any application and are designed with a gain of 20. The integrated bias clamps are package in an 8pin DIP and come with either an 80V or 120V supply. The video preamps offer a choice of bandwidths and integrated or external On Screen Display Generator.

Low Cost CRT Solutions with Stand Alone Pre-amplifiers National's low cost stand alone pre-amplifiers are suitable for non-OSD applications or those using an external OSD generator. The parts offer 3 different bandwidths, 110MHz, 150MHz, and 200MHz, depending on the design goals of a particular model. All three parts, packaged in the 24 pin narrow body DIP, are pin to pin compatible.

Low Cost CRT Solutions with Integrated Pre-amplifiers National's low cost integrated pre-amplifiers, when used with a Low Cost driver and clamp, provide a complete 3-chip solution for the video neckboard. The 110MHz product introduces a new concept in OSD. It has hardware generated, language independent, icon based OSD that virtually eliminates the need for OSD firmware and related microcontroller overhead. The 150MHz product contains a mask programmable, custom font OSD. These two parts, also packaged in the 24pin DIP, are pin compatible.

CRT Drivers 

National's standard CRT Drivers have a typical gain of 14 and range from 3ns to 14nS rise and fall times. These low power, monolithic, triple channel drivers are pin to pin compatible and packaged in the industry standard 9 or 11ld TO-220. With a typical output swing of 40Vpp, applications include VGA through UXGA resolutions.

Video Pre-Amplifiers 

National's standard video preamps are triple channel DC controlled devices in either 20 or 28pin DIP. The products offer bandwidths ranging from 85 to 150MHz, a gain of either 7 or 10(V/V), and OSD inputs. National also offers a single channel part with a bandwidth of 230MHz and no OSD mixer.
