Despite its small size, Singapore is remarkably thriving, with the busiest port in the world. It is also one of Asia's largest financial hubs. Another strength lies in its communications networks.
It is a tropical country with warm and humid weather, ideal for sunbathers and water activities like diving. Singapore has a wealth of things to do and see. If you are looking for a historical perspective, there is the Parliament House and City Hall. Art and music lovers can enjoy the Singapore Art Museum and the Victoria Theatre. National Semiconductor's first presence in Asia was in Singapore, back in 1968. Today, we have a team of colleagues in sales, applications, marketing and support functions based in our Singapore office.
