A large town in the southwest area of England, Swindon is becoming one of Britain's fastest-growing towns. It is located between Bristol and London, in the county of Wiltshire. Swindon combines areas of outstanding natural beauty and historic value with all the attributes of a thriving commercial center. The city center itself is compact and conducive to strolling. Throughout the town there are over 40 miles of footpaths and cycleways.
Within Swindon's boundaries you will find STEAM - the Museum of the Great Western railway, the National Monuments Record Centre which houses the archive of England's Heritage, and also Europe's largest covered designer outlet center.
Swindon is a balance of the historic and the contemporary. There are numerous theaters, fabulous restaurants and bars, and premier nightclubs to balance out the Victorian parks and prehistoric sites of the surrounding countryside.
