China Sales Headquarters and
Asia Pacific Customer Support Center
|
Shanghai, on the estuary of Yangtze River of China, is the largest industrial city in China. An important seaport and China's largest commercial and financial center, Shanghai is also a shopper's paradise.
Originally, Shanghai was a seaside fishing village. It has changed a great deal. Today Shanghai is a multi-cultural metropolis with both modern and traditional Chinese features.
The Oriental Pearl Tower, Jinmao Mansion and Pudong International Airport are the modern symbols of an international metropolis while the Shanghai Museum, Shanghai Grand Theatre and Shanghai City Planning Exhibition Center are evidence of the traditional roots of this great city.
Shanghai was named the China Sales Headquarters in 2003. Originally set up as a small sales and application support office for East China customers in 1996, our Shanghai operations have grown tremendously over the years. Aside from the sales office, the company's Asia Pacific customer support center was also moved to Shanghai in the first half of 2004. Now the Shanghai team has staff in sales, applications, customer service, logistics and other support functions.
While the sales and applications staff provide support to customers based in East China, the other staff cover areas as wide as the entire China region or Asia Pacific.
