Phoenix Design Center (South)
|
The Phoenix Design Center is located in the Southeast area of Phoenix (an urban village also known as "Ahwatukee"). With South Mountain Park (the largest municipal park in the country) as its northern boundary, it is geographically separated from the rest of the Valley, giving it the feel of a city unto itself. It is a rapidly growing area where young, educated professionals are raising families in an environmentally attractive location. Good-quality schools, hiking, horse-back riding, rock-climbing, a community center, country clubs, golf courses, and easily accessible Interstate 10 make Ahwatukee Foothills an attractive place to work, live, and play. Ahwatukee is encircled by the sublime Sonoran Desert and boasts over 340 days of sunshine each year. Part of the varied landscape of the Southwest, ski resorts are less than 4 hours drive from the city.
