The Malaysian Manufacturing Center is located in the city of Melaka, one of Malaysia's thirteen states. It is located on the southwestern coast of Peninsular Malaysia; about 2 hours drive from Kuala Lumpur.

Melaka is known as Malaysia's Historical City. Visitors to the state invariably head for the city of Melaka as most of the historical attractions are located there. Of particular interest is the Heritage Trail, located within the city center where most of the historical sites are found. It is best to take a walking tour to the various spots, or a leisurely trishaw ride through the city's narrow, winding streets, allowing one's imagination to be stirred by the images of an era gone by.

The cultural diversity of the area is evident in the Dutch, Chinese, Islamic and Portuguese monuments, which can all be found within the city. Their influence is also visible in the architectural styles of many historic buildings.

Melaka has a typical tropical climate as it lies three degrees north of the Equator. The year-round temperature ranges from 26 to 34 degrees Celsius with occasional tropical showers and thunderstorms.

The Manufacturing Center utilizes a combined space of over 100,000 square feet to house manufacturing, clean room, test, and assembly groups.
