As the Pearl of the Orient, Hong Kong is the ideal mixture of Western and Eastern influences. Central Hong Kong has towering skyscrapers and bustling streets of commercial interest. National Semiconductor's first office in Hong Kong was established in 1969. Today, it is the home to the Asia Pacific sales and marketing headquarters. The staff in Hong Kong serve the Asia Pacific business region in various disciplines: sales, marketing, applications, human resources, finance, MIS, marketing communications, logistics and other support functions.

Since 2003, Hong Kong has also become the home to National's IC design teams.
