 PalmGuide Ver. 5.4.2 (released Oct, 17 2007)

PalmGuide is a software based Op Amp selection tool that fits in a shirt pocket.

Modeled upon the popular Selguide for Windows, PalmGuide is a slimed-down version of Selguide. While compact, PalmGuide still retains most of the basic functionality of Selguide and contains our complete Op Amp portfolio.

Included in the search results is a summary table of key device parameters and pricing information. PalmGuide should work on any recent PalmOS/Garnet based device (Treo, Palm, Handspring, Sony, TRGpro/Handera, Symbol, Kyocera, Samsung, etc).

Take a look at the instructions page to see how simple PalmGuide is to use.

Installation of PalmGuide software is simple. PalmGuide is installed just as one would install any thrid-party application into any PalmOS device.

We hope you will find this a handy tool for use in selecting our Amplifier products.

System Requirements

  • PalmOS 3.x to Garnet 5.4 (Treo, Palm, Handspring, Sony, HandEra/TRGpro, Symbol, etc).
  • 500K or more free memory (Palm III or better recommended)
  • 300K storage space.
  • Palm Desktop software, memory card or data connection for installation.

Returning Users! We have updated our installers. You no longer have to install the individual files manually. Please read below...

The PalmGuide-Installer files are self-extracting files that will extract and install Palmguide and all its databases directly on the palm, either through Hotsync, memory card or direct download. Installation instructions are below.

If you wish to install through the Windows Palm Desktop Hotsync software, download PalmGuide-Installer.exe and follow the Windows installation instructions below.

If you wish to install from the Mac OS Palm Desktop, download PalmGuide-Installer.prc and follow the Mac installation instructions below.

If you wish to install from a storage card or by direct download, download PalmGuide-Installer.prc and follow the direct installation directions below.

The old PalmGuide.zip file is also available for those who prefer the individual files. The palmguide.exe self-extracting file is no longer provided.

The "AllOpAmps" selection contains all available devices, but it is much larger than the other databases and searching AllOpAmps can be slow.

Note: While older PalmOS 2.x and 3.x devices still work, they are no longer fully supported by our development tools. Memory is very tight on the older devices and searches will be very, very slow. We do not recommend installing on older devices (mainly because of the speed).
