National Semiconductor's Analog Products Group has announced that all commercial Comlinear Op-Amps will be placed on lifetime buy status due to the closure of Agere's wafer foundry.
The Military and Space grade parts will all remain active, with the exception of the items below that will be phased out due to low die bank inventory. A select number of commercial products will be supported in die form. The others, listed below, will be phased out.
The Comlinear products supported by Enhanced Solutions (i.e. Military, Space and Die) will remain active until die reserves are depleted. Should this situation change, users will be notified via the Product/Process Change Notification (PCN) system.
