Objective: This course will teach the basics of linear, inductive, switched capacitor DC to DC converter products from Portable Power Systems perspective. It will not cover controllers, battery chargers, supervisors, LED drivers or products for specific purposes such as PMUs, LMUs, RF-PA drivers, CCFL drivers, TFT power supplies etc.

About the Instructor: Ajay Padgaonkar is the Technical Marketing Manager in the Portable Power Systems Division. One of his responsibilities is preparing, reviewing, and presenting technical material in support of the broad market promotion for the division. Before joining National in 1998, Ajay worked at Intel, Microchip and Texas Instruments. Ajay holds a BSEE from Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai, M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Notre Dame and M.B.A. from Arizona State University.
