POWER 210 - Some Real-world Issues of SMPSs

Objective: The purpose of this course is to bridge some of the gap between theory and practice. We will look at a few seemingly disparate issues and observations that have arisen out of our collective experience with switchers --- answers or clues to which are not always easily available in related literature.

The path of a power supply designer has never been easy. This course, while not pretending to offer instant karma, will certainly mitigate some of the ensuing pain to some extent, besides providing guidance on how to help the equally customer out a little more quickly!
