About the Instructor: Bob Sheehan is a Principal Applications Engineer with the Medium and HV Applications Group in Santa Clara. His design ideas have appeared in EDN, Electronic Design and Planet Analog. Prior to joining National he did isolated power applications for Linear Technology. His background includes power supply design, test, quality and manufacturing engineering. When not doing real work he can usually be found tinkering with anything that sparks, arcs, flashes or explodes.
