Presenters: Jay Canteenwala is the Americas Regional Marketing Manager at National Semiconductor for the Broadcast Video and Communications Infrastructure segments. He has been with National Semicondutor in the Interface Product Line and in Regional Marketing. Previously, Jay has held various marketing positions at Intel, NEC and Mitsubishi Electronics, he has an MBA from Kansas State University.

Kurt Rentel is a technologist in the High Speed Products Division of National Semiconductor. He has been involved with products and solutions for the communications infrastructure market for the past dozen years. Rentel has worked in a range of design and marketing roles in National and for seven years was director of National’s Development Center in Fort Collins, Colorado. Prior to joining National in 1995, Rentel spent thirteen years in various engineering and management roles at Comlinear Corporation. Rentel received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Iowa State University and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Colorado State University. Kurt is a US patent holder.
