Overview: Audio is an important feature in most portable consumer electronics. Products including notebook computers, cell phones, and PDAs benefit from small single-supply mono and stereo audio power amplifiers. Notebook computers include built-in stereo speakers and provide a headphone output for private listening. Cell phone audio continues to increase in importance as MP3 and FM radio functionality is added. PDAs that include stereo audio amplifiers can double as a personal assistant and an MP3 player.
