Multiple-Output Switching Regulators Featuring LM5115

Overview: The seminar will first go over the different topologies that were used in the past to produce multiple outputs using switching regulators. Pros and Cons of these topologies will be shown. The benefits of using secondary side post regulation (SSPR) will be addressed along with details on how the LM5115 is applied to SSPR applications. A unique feature of the LM5115 is that the controller is not only a SSPR controller, but doubles as a HV DC Buck controller. A HV DC-DC application using the LM5115 will be shown. The seminar will conclude with variations of the standard LM5115 SSPR application topology.
