Overview: This WEB Seminar discusses
the implementation, application and use of the Built-In Self-Test (BIST)
and Test Pattern Generation (TPG) facilities in the CLC021 SDV Serializer,
CLC030 SD/HD Serializer and CLC031 SD/HD Deserializer products. The seminar
addresses such topics as: types of test patterns and their application,
relevant video standards, product design-in and BIST-TPG operation, and
types of products that can benefit from this BIST-TPG functionality. Emphasis
is placed on the advantages that come from the use of real digital video
data in product and system applications and testing.
Length: 60 minutes
Published Date: March 2004
Topics covered in this online seminar include:
- The role of native-code video Built-In Self-Test (BIST) and Test Pattern
Generation (TPG) in Serial Digital Video (SDV) products.
- The products that have BIST-TPG.
- The standards defining the test data and BIST methods used.
- The on-chip test data patterns available.
- How BIST-TPG works in these products and the degree of test coverage.
- How to apply and use the BIST-TPG functions of these products.
- Products that can benefit from devices having BIST-TPG capability.
- Design aids and resources.
